A few months back, I organized a photo shoot in conjunction with Lowepro and some local photographers from my SmugMug Photography User's Group. The shoot was for, at the time, unreleased camera bags. Well, the last of the bags, the Urban Photo Sling was just released today! Over the next few days, I'll be releasing some photos. But in the mean time - some crazy news - Lowepro decided they wanted to use ME as a model for the Urban Photos Sling! That's right, me, a model! Very weird being on the other side of the lens. Here's a video clip from Greg Berg, a local videographer featuring the new Urban Photo Sling, and...you guessed it, me ;-)

Lighting Jedi
Last Tuesday I attended a lighting workshop by Joe and Mirta Barnet. They are a well known husband/wife team that conduct workshops, teach classes, and have been published in numerous magazines and publications. I had a great time improving my skills while on the path to becoming a lighting Jedi! ;-)
You Gotta Know When to Hold 'Em

40 Under 40
Each year, Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine awards 40 young engineers under 40 years old, (40 Under 40 Program), recognizing them as the most talented young individuals in the engineering community. Congratulations to Scott Twele! The lifestyle photos from our session will be published in the magazine.
Chillin' with Clay
Monday night I attended Clay Blackmore's "Photograph Everyone" seminar. Here's a photo I was able to get with good ol' Clay himself ;-)
